Festival of Lights Tree Lighting

Posted

Wickford Village will continue its annual ‘Festival of Lights’ celebration, beginning on December 5th. This Festival is a 4-day event that transforms Wickford Village into a winter wonderland fit for Elsa.
The festival begins with a tree lighting ceremony at Updike Park, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and the Town of North Kingstown and the Wickford Village Merchants. Keep an eye out for Santa Claus and stick around for pictures with our jolly guest!
Over these four days, enjoy a wide variety of wintery treats and events! Watch your step so you don’t miss the Elf Parade and their march to greet Santa. Take advantage of Wickford shops’ extended holiday hours and peek at their creative holiday displays.
“It’s sure to be a fun, family-friendly event,” said N.K. Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Director, Maria Masse. “There is something for everyone, whether it’s a sweet snack from the Holly Jolly Trolley or a chance to stop into one of the Wickford shops. Everyone can find something.”
