'Food Truck Friday' returns to Providence

Posted

The 11th season of Food Truck Friday returns to Carousel Village at Roger Williams Park every Friday from April 18 to Sept. 26. The event brings together some of the best local food trucks, courtesy of PVD Food Truck Events and Roger Williams Park Zoo & Carousel Village. It begins at 5 p.m.

Attendance is free, tickets are not necessary. Just pay for what you eat and drink from an ever changing rotation of more than 15 food trucks each week. The Food Trucks accept cash, credit, and debit cards.

Enjoy live music each week from a variety of more than two dozen local musicians. Explore Hasbro’s Boundless Playground. Take a carousel ride or hop on the train (additional cost). Bring a chair or blanket and explore the grassy areas and find a place on the lawn to sit or enjoy more than 20 picnic tables.

PRO TIP - PARKING: The easiest parking option is to park in the zoo parking lot for free and take the 7 minute walk to Carousel Village.

Local beer and wine are available for sale as well.
