Fort Adams open for tours this weekend and next
Take a guided tour of the historic Fort Adams in Newport on weekends in March. Constructed with Irish labor between 1824 and 1857, the tours are offered as a part of Irish Heritage Month. Hour-long tours will be offered at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for youth (ages 6-17), free for children 5 and under. $5 off individual tickets when mentioning Irish Heritage Month.
