Inspired by his parents’ teachings about kindness, 4-year-old East Providence native Brady Vieira made a heartfelt commitment to help those in need during the holiday season.
For the past two years, Brady has run a hot chocolate and sweet treats stand in his driveway, successfully raising $3,000. All proceeds from his winter wonderland are donated to children and families experiencing hardships. In the future, Brady dreams of expanding his impact and showing other young people generosity knows no age limit.
For spreading warmth and true holiday spirit, Brady Vieira was honored as a Heroes Among Us by the Boston Celtics during their home game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, Dec. 25.
Since its establishment in 1997 by the Boston Celtics, the 'Heroes Among Us' program has recognized outstanding individuals who have made exceptional and lasting contributions to their communities. The award is presented at every Celtics home game and pays tribute to the heroic achievements of these outstanding citizens.
