Gagner, White reign over 2024 Mt. Hope High Homecoming court

Runner-up Martel leads Huskies to dramatic football win

Posted

Mt. Hope High School celebrated its 2024 Homecoming Friday, Oct. 18, culminating with the announcement and presentation of the court later that evening at halftime of the Huskies' football game at the Vendituoli Complex against visiting Stafford, Conn.

The Homecoming King and Queen for 2024 were Aidan Gagner and Eliza White. The rest of the court included first runner-up Lilliana Redman and Ethan Martel; second runner-up Miguel Ferraz and Lucienne O'Brien; third runner-up Millie Piper and Lucas Andreozzi; and fourth runner-up Chelsea Rodenbaugh and Matthew MacDougall.

Any sadness Martel may have had by not taking home the designation as "King" was surely usurped by his play in the football contest as the senior quarterback led the Huskies on a game-winning drive in the final minute to secure a 20-17 victory.
