The Townies fall to visiting East Greenwich

EAST PROVIDENCE — The East Providence High School boys’ volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss at home to East Greenwich Thursday night, June 10. The visiting Avengers won by the scores of 25-10, 25-18 and 25-22.

Grant Wosencroft had 10 kills and three blocks at net for the locals. Brett Schwab had 15 digs.

The Townies dropped to 4-7 in the Division II standings with the defeat, but are still likely headed to the upcoming league championship playoffs.
