Join the Warren Land Conservation Trust for a kite-flying event. All ages are invited. Use one of the land trust’s kites or bring your own. This beach looking over the Warren River has a steady on-shore breeze for just about any kind of kite. Leashed dogs welcome. Raindate Sunday, Oct. 9.

WHAT: Fourth annual kite-flying event

WHEN: Saturday, Oct. 8, anytime between 1 and 4 p.m.

WHERE: Jacob’s Point, Warren, off the East Bay Bike Path 1,000 feet south of Locust Terrace, where there is on-street parking (do not park beyond the bike path on this road) and 1,000 feet north of the Audubon’s Nature Center on the Bristol/Warren town line, Hope Street.

COST: Part of Land Trust Days, the event is free
