'Holiday Lantern' tours in Newport this weekend

The Newport Historical Society hosts a special "Holiday Lantern Tour" throughout the season. Hear the history of early American holiday traditions on an evening walk. Learn how Newporters did, or didn’t, observe the holidays. This tour lasts about one hour. 

Tickets are: $20 for adults, $8 for children 5-12 years old, $15 for NHS Members, $15 for active duty or retired military, and free for children under 5 years old.

Purchase of a NHS Walking Tour ticket also includes complimentary admission to the Museum of Newport History. All tours begin at the Museum of Newport History (127 Thames St, Newport). Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to tour to check-in your reservation or sign-up, with Museum staff.
