James E. Reynolds, Jr., 69, of Bristol

Mr. James E. Reynolds, Jr., age 69 of Bristol, died peacefully Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, at the RI Veterans Home with his sister, Victoria at his side. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, he was a son of the late James E. and Annie (Castigliego) Reynolds, Sr.

Jim served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.   He was a wire worker for the former American Wire and a textile worker for American Tourister, formerly in Warren, for a number of years. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, had a great love for animals, especially his cats, and always loved the pleasure of a good cigar.

He is survived by his sister, Victoria A. Faria (the late Joseph) of Bristol, and several cousins in the Bristol and Saratoga Springs, New York areas.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Prayer Service in celebration of his life on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol. Visitation will preceed the service from 9 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Bristol Animal Shelter, 11 Broad Common Road, Unit 155, Bristol RI 02809 or online at www.friendsofthebristolanimalshelter.org
