Jean L. (Parent) Cicero, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on April 18, 2021. She was the wife of the late Joseph Cicero for 49 years until his passing in 2008.

Born in Warren, R.I., she was the daughter of the late Lillian (Johnson) and Alfred Parent, Sr.

Jean was a woman of simple pleasures; she enjoyed watching Jeopardy, gardening, bird-watching, reading, cooking and baking, and caring for her recently adopted kittens. Mostly, she enjoyed her children, helping to raise her grandchildren, and to welcome and enjoy the company of her great-grandchildren.

Jean leaves behind her children: Julie A. Power (John), Jo-Ann Morra (Robert), Jana L. Longo (John), and Jill M. Cicero (Michael); her grandchildren: Courtney A. Moore (Troy), Stephanie J. Power, Jennifer L. Moore (Sean), Stephen J. Morra (Lindsey), Lauren E. Morra, Jonathon M. Longo (Brianna), Jami L. Longo, Jenna A. Longo, and River C. Torres; and her great-grandchildren: Amaiya A. Moore, Erik C. Moore, T.J. Moore, Jaxon J. Morra, Austin N. Alegria, and Thomas J. Longo. Jean also leaves behind her sister, Aldea Stanzione.

In death, Jean is reunited with her husband Joseph, her parents Lillian and Alfred, and her brothers: Alfred J. Parent, Jr. and George Parent.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, April 26, 2021, at 10 a.m. inside Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Burial will take place in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital or Hope Health Hospice & Palliative Care.
