Joanne Taylor, 82, of Narragansett Ave., Barrington, went to be with her husband Albert on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 which would have been their 64th wedding anniversary.
She was the daughter of Charles J. Piatek and Sophie (Pelzcar) Piatek. Born December 22, 1938 in Pawtucket, RI she spent most of her childhood there. She was employed as a secretary for various companies. But her favorite job was when she worked at Meadow Crest Pharmacy in Riverside.
She loved music. She grew up playing the accordion and had a band with her father and husband called The Echo Orchestra where they played at many different types of functions.
The biggest highlight of her life was on February 1, 2020 when she went to see her favorite group IL VOLO. Not only did she have front row seats but she had a VIP ticket to meet them and had her picture taken with them.
