Join Imago Foundation for the Arts as it welcomes The Joe Parillo Trio on Sunday, March 19 at Imago Gallery, 36 Market Street, 4:00 pm show time. Doors open at 3:30.

Joe Parillo, a pianist, composer and songwriter, has toured in Brazil, Italy, Germany, South Wales, Taiwan and New Zealand, and has performed with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and vibraphonist Jay Hoggard and as featured artist for the 150th Anniversary of Steinway and Sons.

Jerry Wilfong is an active Boston area freelance bassist who studied at Berklee College of Music, and later with bassist Joe Holovnia, and has toured Russia, Romania, and France.

Mike Connors studied jazz percussion at Berklee and has toured internationally and for television shows such as Dateline NBC, Regis and Kathie Lee, Felicity, and commercials for Cinemax, PBS, Microsoft and National Public Radio.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
