Judy Puleston, age 85, of Barrington, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Judy was a graduate of Boston University. She received a Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling and social work from Rhode Island College and later worked in private practice in Providence.

She and former husband Bob survived an airplane accident in 1970. To aid in her recovery, she began therapeutic lap swimming at the Barrington YMCA and extended her interest in the sport to competing in New England Masters swimming events locally and around the country. Judy developed many interests over the years: photography, kayaking, several book clubs and the Hameho Garden Club. A private service will be held at a later date.
