To the editor:
A hearty congratulations to Marjorie Leary, the Wilbur McMahon School (WM) for her statewide fiction contest award! What a deserving honor!
I know Marjorie from substitute teaching at Wilbur McMahon (and other East Bay schools).
Marjorie stands out. She’s respectful; attentive and rides her bicycle to school! It seems Marjorie has those innate leadership abilities among her peers. She is headed for success!
Despite a seeming diminution of the learning environment at WM; Marjorie stands tall!
