Letter: Historical displays are ready for empty storefronts
We at the Bristol Historical & Preservation Society believe that history can help advance our town’s economic development and provide solutions to current problems. To that end, last year, we were pleased to receive a grant from the Rhode Island Foundation allowing us to create a set of mobile exhibits that can be installed in empty storefronts.
Two such exhibits are now available, both on the Mount Hope Bridge. Thanks to Lauren Enjeti, of Lauren Enjeti Designs, they are beautiful and ready for installation. They stand on their own and are completely self-contained.
If you own an empty storefront and would like to display them in your window, please contact us at 253-7223. Or simply stop by — they are ready to go!
