When I worked my first election in 2016 at my local polling station in a local elementary school, I was fully expecting Clinton to win, and didn’t realize that she was clearly losing until I was driving home at about 10 p.m. (starting at 6 am.) in my brand new Tesla.
I went to meetings, made posters, marched in DC and went to the local rallies and organized protests — I was livid with anger, but it never ever occurred to me to harm any person or any object or car.
I love my Tesla, especially because I charge it entirely from my solar panels all year round.
I’m very unhappy that Elon Musk is making any money off of my car, but my guess is that Henry Ford, and the original makers of Mercedes and Volkswagen and Japanese cars, would not meet with my approval for their politics or the way they treated their workers or polluted their surroundings.
My advice is to work for change and not for retribution.
