The Westport Summer Farmers Market ended a great 2024 run on Saturday, Oct. 12, after 19 consecutive and successful markets. The good news is that a Westport Winter Market will open soon.

The Westport Economic Development Task Force is again sponsoring a Winter Market. As in previous years, it will be held in the gymnasium of the Town Annex, which is in the rear of the building at 856 Main Road in Westport. The Winter Market will keep its regular hours of 9 am to 1 pm.

The dates for the 2024 Winter Market are November 16 and 23, and December 7, 14 and 21. There is plenty of parking around the building.
While local farmers will be well represented, craft vendors that want to sell their wares into the gift-giving season are expected in considerable numbers.

There will also be live music every week thanks to a grant from the Helen Ellis Trust, as administered by the Westport Cultural Council.

For more information, please contact our market managers Ben and Hannah Wolbach at (508) 617-0838.

He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
