To the editor:

Although I now live in Florida, I enjoy following the latest controversies in my native Barrington. The latest seems to be speed cameras in school zones. 

Pardon me if I missed any consideration of installing speed bumps. They were the first thing that came to mind to make school zones safer. They work great down here. Installing cameras would be the last thing. 

Looking forward to Barrington's next controversy.
