Your colorful, clever illustration of a densely packed area filled with housing developments can never happen in Tiverton. Tiverton has no sewer and a limited water supply. It is impossible that any subdivision could be built in Tiverton to those densities. Folks should start worrying more about the school system and the 69 percent of the annual town budget that gets spent on this category. Economics, land development costs and engineering requirements along with other factors will take care of the density issues.

The drawing was included in an article on the town's issues with the Rhode Island Low and Moderate Income Housing Act published Wednesday, March 12.
