Little Compton administrator, finance director leaving
Tony Teixeira and Amy Galinelli expected to serve through end of June
Little Compton needs to fill two upper-level positions following word this week that town administrator Tony Teixeira and finance director Amy Galinelli are both leaving at the end of the fiscal year on Monday, June 30.
“I am very proud of the accomplishments over the last six-plus years, but it would not have been possible without the support and camaraderie of the town council,” Teixeira wrote in a letter to the town council dated last Friday, April 18.
“I am hopeful that my replacement will continue to make positive strides in ensuring that daily functions will continue to improve,” Galinelli added in her letter, transmitted to the town on Wednesday, April 2.
Town council members are expected to appoint interim replacements for each post at their meeting Thursday evening, while they begin the search for permanent replacements.
