At 11:02 am, a man reported losing his wallet — last seen at the Post Office.

A North Dartmouth, Mass., motorist was cited for driving with a suspended license, first offense, at 3:58 pm on West Main Road at the town line.

Wednesday, May 25

A South Shore Road resident notified police at 3:27 pm that a big, red business-type truck  ran her granddaughter off the road and into the ditch while she was riding her bike. The girl was not hurt. Police checked but could not find a vehicle matching the description.

A dog bite was reported on Old Farm Road at 7:16 pm.

Police were called to Long Highway at 7:16 pm for a family disturbance involving a dispute over parenting methods.

Friday, May 27

At 4:31 pm, a resident called to report that her son’s Nishiki street bike was stolen from the bus stop at the Oak Forest school bus stop on Sakonnet Trail.

Sunday, May 30

A caller reported at 12:36 pm that his/her vehicle had been struck by an unknown vehicle in the Briggs Beach parking lot.

Monday, May 31

A smartphone found on South Shore Beach was dropped off at the police station at 12:28 pm.

At 3:21 pm, an Old Stone Church Road resident called to report a sweepstakes scam.
