Nonprofit arts organization The Collaborative is inviting the community to the sixth annual Warren Folks Festival on Saturday, August 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 30 Cutler Street in Warren.

There will be over 40 Rhode Island artists and artisans in attendance displaying and selling their work. This event has something for everyone, also featuring many local resturaunts such as Balasco's Pizzeria, Chelsea's Creamery, Mooseman's Kettlecorn and Chomp Kitchen and Drinks. A fully-stocked beer garden sponsored by Narragansett Beer will also serve wine from Anchor & Hope, Hard Seltzer from Cannon & Archer and cocktails from Cruisin' Cocktails. For a nonalcoholic option, there will be iced tea from Granny Squibb's and Mocktails from Kristie's Kraft.

The event will also spotlight Rhode Island-based musicians, songwriters and performers such as Vudu Sister, American Echoes and Honeysuckle Hill. Between a main stage featureing everything from spoken word poetry to folk and indie music and an acoustic stage with a lineup of local singer-songwriters, attendees can enjoy a variety of different acts.

Entry to the Folks Festival is free with an encouraged donation. The public is encouraged to walk or bike due to limited parking space.
