Local Jazz Band, The Be Bop Docs, at Linden Place Mansion

Posted

Linden Place will host an outdoor fall concert with local jazz band, the Bebop Docs on Sunday, October 16 at 2pm. BYOB, chair and picnic to the gardens where fire pits, Adirondack chairs and great music await you!
The Bebop Docs hail from East Bay, Rhode Island and include Peter Mandelson on guitar, Steve Glinick on trumpet, Dan Lederer on bass, Larry Berren on keyboard and Woody Carland as their guest drummer.
From the band: “Full disclosure: We’re not all docs. In a moment of weakness, we let a lawyer slip in. And, truth be told, we play as much traditional jazz as we do bebop, occasionally featuring a catchy original piece our bass player contributes. Either way it’s a toe-tapping good time.”

The Bebop Docs will entertain with bebop standards like “All The Things You Are”, “How High the Moon”, “Lady Bird” and “Cotton Tail” as well as traditional jazz numbers like “You Do Something to Me”, “Have you Met Miss Jones”, “Out of Nowhere” and “Autumn Leaves”.

Admission is $15, $10 for Linden Place members and free for Colt Circle Members. Children admitted free with any adult ticket purchased. Reservations are recommended as space is limited. To reserve tickets, please call 401-253-0390 or visit www.lindenplace.org.
