Man charged with third DUI offense in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH — A 64-year-old Middletown man was charged with his third driving-under-the-influence (DUI) offense after he was seen urinating in public on Sunday, June 12, according to police.

According to police, officers responded to the Weaver Cove area around 5:25 p.m. to investigate a report of a man relieving himself. When they arrived, they observed the suspected vehicle traveling south on Burma Road and stopped it for multiple roadway violations, police said.

Aaron Wilson, of 71 Amesbury Circle, was charged with DUI (third offense) and disorderly conduct (exposing his genitals), police said. He was also cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test.

Monday, June 6

Steven R. Dean, 49, of 150 North Main St., B1, Fall River, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and DUI (first offense), after police responded to Route 24 South, just past Boyds Lane, for a report of a single-vehicle accident around 12:20 p.m. When officers arrived, Dean was unconscious in the driver’s seat, police said. It was determined Dean was possibly overdosing, so he was administered two doses of Narcan, which assisted him in regaining consciousness, according to police. After being evaluated by the Portsmouth Fire Department, he was transported to Newport Hospital for further medical treatment.

Tuesday, June 7

Brianna A. Carlone, 26, of 215 Mail Coach Road, was charged with DUI (first offense), and driving without an active license (first offense) Officers stopped her car on West Main Road around 7:35 p.m. after observing it traveling partly on the fog line, police said. Carlone stumbled into traffic upon exiting her car, and when officers removed her from the roadway she resisted their actions, police said. She was also charged with resisting arrest, and cited for refusing a chemical test. She was later transported to Newport Hospital for an evaluation, police said.

Friday, June 10

Robert C. Laureanno, 51, of 3030 East Main Road, was arrested near his home around 6:50 p.m. on a warrant charging him with domestic cyberstalking. The victim was a 55-year-old Portsmouth woman, according to police.

Alcides L. Rosa, 36, of 49 Parker St., Central Falls, was charged with DUI (first offense) and violating a no-contact order after being pulled over for a roadway violation on Route 24 around 9:25 p.m. According to police, a 23-year-old female passenger in the vehicle had an active no-contact order with Rosa, who was also cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test. He was held pending his transport to the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston.

Saturday, June 11

Tyrone D. Neal, Jr., 29, of no permanent address, was charged with DUI (first offense) after being pulled over on Route 24 North at Boyds Lane shortly before 1 a.m. for speeding and committing multiple roadway violations. He was also cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test.

Kamrin J. Pratt, 22, of 40 Cedar Ave., was charged with DUI (first offense) after being stopped on West Main Road at Bayview Apartments around 1:15 a.m. for committing multiple traffic violations, police said.

Victoria A. Dugan, 27, of 11A Buck Road, Middletown, was charged at about 7:15 p.m. with driving without the consent of the owner. Middletown Police arrested her at home on an affidavit warrant issued by Portsmouth Police.

Monday, June 13

Zakary S. Drapeau, 24, of 124 Evergreen Ave., Tiverton, was charged with DUI (first offense) after being pulled over on Boyds Lane just before 2 a.m. He was also cited for refusing a chemical test.

Claywell M. Chafton, 33, of 16 Chase Ave., Tiverton, was charged with DUI (first offense) after being stopped for speeding on East Main Road at Clements’ Marketplace around 8:45 p.m. He was also cited for refusing a chemical test.
