More than a dozen boards and commissions in Barrington are looking for volunteers.
There are openings on the Autism Advisory Council, the Board of Assessment Review, the Board of Library Trustees, Bristol County Water Authority, the DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Committee, the Economic Development Commission, the Housing Board of Trustees, the Resilience and Energy Committee, Senior Services Advisory Board, Technical Review Committee, Veterans Advisory Committee, and the Zoning Board of Review.
Some of the boards and commissions have multiple vacancies: DEI (two), Senior Services Advisory Board (two), Technical Review Committee (three), Veterans Advisory Committee (seven), and the Zoning Board of Review (two).
Applications can be obtained through the town’s website at www.barrington.ri.gov, at the Town Clerk's Office at Barrington Town Hall, or at the library.
