This year’s theme, “The Magic of Winter,” is presented in partnership with Discover Newport, and promises a celebration of all that makes the season special.

The Newport Winter Festival has become a staple of the region’s winter calendar, offering a wide range of events that cater to all ages. Whether you’re a foodie, music lover, or looking for family-friendly entertainment, this year’s festival has something for everyone.

Highlighted events include:

• Concert Series: Enjoy performances by some of the best tribute bands in the business, including Little Lies (Fleetwood Mac Tribute), Bennie and the Jets (Elton John Tribute),and Changes in Latitudes (a tribute to Jimmy Buffett).

• Chili and Mac & Cheese Cook-offs: Indulge in the delicious flavors of Newport’s best chili and mac & cheese at the friendly cook-off competitions, and vote for your favorite.

• Drink Competitions: Sip your way through exciting drink competitions featuring local mixologists and bartenders, including Hot Drink, Tropical Drink, Espresso Martini and Tiki Drink Competitions.

• A Brew Masters Dinner: Taking place at The Mooring Seafood Kitchen and Bar featuring Tilted Barn Brewery.

• Magicians and Illusionist: Prepare to be amazed by magic shows and jaw-dropping illusions, perfect for a night of wonder.

• Comedy Show: Laugh out loud with two comedians who will keep you entertained all night.

• Ice Carving Demonstration: Watch as talented artists create stunning sculptures out of blocks of ice, transforming them into magical masterpieces.

• Family-Friendly Entertainment: With kid-friendly performances, such as Toe Jam Puppet Band, A Reptile Show and a Mad Scientist there’s plenty of fun for the whole family.
