Barrington Police responded to Nayatt School on Friday, March 7, for the report of a missing child.

Police said a Barrington resident called the station to report that his daughter did not get off the bus at her normal stop that day.

Police said they spoke with Nayatt School officials who said the girl did get on the bus. Officials then called the bus company, which checked the bus and located the girl asleep in one of the seats.

The girl was brought back to the school and reunited with her father. Police said the girl was fine.
