Police: Two people pass out in church parking lot after using drugs

Investigation leads to the arrest of Riverside woman

Posted

Barrington police responded to the parking lot at Holy Angels Church on Maple Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, for a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot.

The car had been in the lot for more than two hours. The officer found two people sleeping in the car, and evidence of recent drug use.

The occupants of the vehicle told police they had been at a friend's house earlier, and had just used heroin.

A search of the two people revealed a license and social security card belonging to a North Providence woman. Police contacted that woman, who said her wallet had been stolen recently.

Police then charged Kaitlyn Marie Dubord, 23, of Riverside, with receiving stolen goods-misdemeanor. Ms. Dubord had told police she found the items in Providence.
