PORTSMOUTH — A 51-year-old local man was charged with disorderly conduct (fighting/tumultuous behavior) after officers responded to Verizon Wireless at about 4:10 p.m. on Monday, May 8, to investigate a report of a man acting disorderly at the business.
According to police, Robert C. Laureanno, off 3030 East Main Road, was yelling obscenities in front of customers. He was held at the police station pending his arraignment.

Wednesday, May 10
Melanie L. Cooke, 42, of 33 Sunset Boulevard, Newport, was charged with driving without an active license, her fourth offense, following a traffic stop on West Main Road at Raytheon Co. at about 2:10 a.m.
Thursday, May 11
Jayme Lyn Moss, 33, of 160 Broad St. 17, Providence, was charged with contributing to a delinquency of a minor following an investigation by the R.I. Department of Children, Youth & Families and the Portsmouth Police Detective Division. Moss was taken into custody shortly after 2 p.m. on an arrest warrant obtained by Portsmouth Police.
Bri-Ann Cornell, 41, of 5 North Drive, was charged with fraudulent use of credit cards, and receiving stolen goods (misdemeanor), following a police investigation. In April, police received a report that a woman later identified as Cornell may have been in possession of a number of items stolen in Fall River, police said. A residential search warrant was conducted, following which a number of stolen items were recovered, according to police.
Friday, May 12
Alexis Lynn Marinelli, 21, of 114 East Road, Tiverton, was charged with driving under the influence (DUI), first offense, after being pulled over on West Main Road at Melville around 2:20 a.m. for speeding and multiple roadway violations, police said. She was also cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test, according to police.
Mark Alen DeMello, 35, of 1295 Stafford Road, Tiverton, was charged with domestic assault after officers responded to a Park Avenue home around 4:45 p.m. to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance, police said. The victim was a 60-year-old woman who lives in Portsmouth, according to police.
Saturday, May 13
Katie Renee Cipullo, 35, of 827 Anthony Road, was charged with domestic assault, first offense, after officers responded to her home shortly after 6 a.m. to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance, police said. The victim was a 35-year-old man from Portsmouth, police said.
Connor John Macleod, 35, of 827 Anthony Road, was charged with domestic assault, first offense, after officers responded to his home shortly after 6 a.m. to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance, police said. The victim was a 35-year-old woman from Portsmouth, police said.
Kevin Arthur Silvia, 59, of 1220 West Main Road, was arrested on a 2nd District Court bench warrant after officers with prior knowledge of the warrant responded to his home at about 7:40 p.m., police said. He was later transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston, police said.
Sunday, May 14
Peter Ryan Emmons, 41, of 33 Primrose St., first floor, Pawtucket, was charged with DUI, first offense, at about 12:35 a.m. Emmons was pulled over on West Main Road because his vehicle’s lights were not on, and it swerving outside of the travel lane, according to police.
Caitlin Bienvenue Defontaine, 45, of 232 Pawtucket Ave. 2, Pawtucket, was charged with DUI, second offense, after officers responded to 135 Alden Ave. at about 7:40 p.m. to investigate a report of an intoxicated driver, police said. Defontaine’s vehicle was observed stopping, starting, and stalling out several times in the roadway, according to police.
