In honor of Flag Day 2021, the Barrington United Veterans Coalition will be hosting a 1st Amendment Flag Rally at the Barrington Town Hall in the vicinity of the Veterans Honor Roll on June 14 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
“It is our intent that all concerned citizens of Barrington who want the sanctity of the American Flag preserved and are equally concerned with the selective cancellation of many of our citizens' First Amendment Rights, join us to have our collective voices heard,” said Barrington UVC President Paul Dulchinos.
Immediately following the rally, members of the Barrington UVC will reassemble at the American Legion Hall for the annual disposal of the town's unserviceable American Flags at 7 p.m. Anyone with an old American Flag that needs to be properly destroyed, may bring it.
