Barrington resident Jeff Norman snapped some photographs of a rare albino robin on Saturday afternoon, March 8.

Norman and his family were taking their dog for a walk at Sowams School when they spotted the oddly-colored bird — a partial albino robin.

So, how rare is an albino or partial albino robin? According to a quick internet search, about one in every 30,000 robins is an albino or partial albino.
