Residents found with vast quantity of drugs after calling police

Posted

On April 20, 2022 Warren Police officers were dispatched to Ridgeway Drive for a report of an attempted breaking and entering taking place.

The female resident was home at the time and called police. The resident told police the suspects fled the scene in a van. While officers conducted an interior search of the residence, officers located a large bag of marijuana in the home. Detectives responded to the residence and continued the investigation.

Detectives subsequently located and seized $35,000 in cash, 10 pounds of marijuana, 12 ounces of cocaine, pills, and THC extract vape cartridges.

As a result of the investigation, two residents of the address were arrested. Kasey Monty, age 25, and Nicholas Wilson, age 28, were both charged with four counts of possession with intent to deliver, one count of possession with intent to deliver 1-5 kilograms of marijuana, and conspiracy.

Both are currently being held without bail. The break and enter incident is still being investigated.
