Richard G. Miller, 88, Tiverton

Richard G. Miller "Dick"   88 of Tiverton, passed away on May 27, 2021.  He was the husband of Elaine M. (Marciarille) Miller to whom he was married to for 64 years.  

Born in Worcester, Mass.,, he was the son of the late Irving and Hazel (Monigle) Miller.  

Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a Supervisor for Globe Manufacturing for over 40 years.  He had served in the US Marines during the Korean Conflict and was a Sea Scout as a child.  

He enjoyed bowling, motorcycles, tennis, boating, playing the guitar and organ and making furniture.  Dick was a loyal New England Patriots fan and also the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed traveling,  especially to Hawaii, Mexico and Alaska.  

In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter, Doreen DeStefano; a son, Richard G. Miller Jr.; along with his grandchildren, Lauren DeStefano, John Miller and Adam Miller.  He also leaves his sisters in law, Geraldine Miller, Rita Rodrigues and Rose Marciarille; along with nieces and nephews.  

He was the brother of the late Carol, Lois, Marion, Doris, Donald, Alton, Franklin and Willard (Billy).
