The Westport River Watershed Alliance’s family-friendly festival, which celebrates the beauty and vitality of the Westport River, is a day of fun and learning with interactive exhibits and activities, mini horses from Archangel Equestrian, a performance by the Eastern Medicine Singers, and a community drum and dance circle led by Dave Curry of Drums for One and All from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Everyone can participate. Bring drums, rattles, dancing toys or borrow one on-site. Chairs and open space available. Park at Westport Middle/High School, 400 Old County Road, and use a free shuttle service that runs every 10 minutes.
