The Community Scholarship Fund of Barrington held its annual awards ceremony late last month. The event include a special tribute to the late Al Genetti, who served as a math teacher and later as principal of Barrington High School. Also this year, Kevin Ryan presented the newly-named Peter D. Wilk Memorial Award; Kevin and Nancy Ryan created the scholarship for Wilk, who passed away of glioblastoma at age 58.
