This winter, the Westport River Watershed Alliance will host a series on “Building A Sustainable Future.” Richard Heinberg, senior Fellow at the Post Carbon Institute, will kick off this program on Thursday, Jan 19. Heinberg is widely recognized as one of the world’s foremost advocates for a shift away from our current reliance on fossil fuels. He has delivered hundreds of lectures on energy and climate issues to audiences on six continents, addressing policy makers at many levels. In his addition to this series, Heinberg will be talking about his latest of fourteen books, “Power: Limits and Prospects for Human Survival.”
