Tiverton police: Man charged with possession of drugs, altered firearm

Monday, Nov. 1

Police were called to Seaview Court for an animal complaint.

Police looked for but could not locate debris reported dumped along Route 24 just before 12:30 p.m.

Police were called to Lake Road for an animal complaint.

A Mill Street woman reported threats/harassment.

Kevin D. Rosa Mascarenhas, 20, of 31 Viall St., New Bedford, was charged with obstructing an officer and cited for driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, after police pulled him over on Hooper Street just after 6 p.m.

Police were called to a Main Road home at 7:50 p.m. for a reported domestic; no arrests were made.

Isaiah Thomas Lopes, 25, of 43 Cook St., Tiverton, was charged with two counts of violation of a no contact order, after police were called to Cook Street for a report of an unwanted person.

Tuesday, Nov. 2

Stephen G. Davis, 35, of 61 Beacon St., Fall River, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, 10 grams or less, after police pulled him over on Route 24 at 12:36 a.m.

Stanley J. Doane, 49, of 75 Raymond St., Fall River, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and cited for driving with a suspended, revoked or cancelled license, after police pulled him over on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 12:37 a.m.

An animal complaint drew police to Kearns Avenue just before 1 p.m.

A walk-in reported threats/harassment.

Alan D. Pittsley, 44, of 378 Allen St., New Bedford, was charged with disorderly conduct after police were called to the Tiverton Casino Hotel at 8:59 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 3

Rescue crews transported a suspected overdose victim on Hurst Lane to Charlton Memorial Hospital, following a  911 call at 12:37 a.m.

A caller reported the violation of a restraining order/no contact order.

Jared M. Chabot, 40, of 117 Bishop St., Fall River, was charged with obstructing an officer, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, 10 grams or less, and cited for driving with a suspended, revoked or cancelled license, after police pulled him over on Shove Street at 5:37 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 4

Fire crews were dispatched to a structure fire at the Auto Gallery, 750 Main Road, at 5:21 a.m.

A Corys Lane caller reported larceny.

A walk-in complained about a parking violation on Thomas Street.

Tracy Marie Bartell, 46, of 121 Persimmon Drive, Tiverton, was arrested on a bench warrant from Second Division District Court.

Police were called to a false burglar alarm at a Fish Road business at 11:06 p.m.

Police got a report of a disorderly person at the Tiverton Casino Hotel at 11:22 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 5

Paul A. Hoey, 48, of 259C Tickle Road, Westport, was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer, after police were called to the Tiverton Casino Hotel at 12:03 a.m. for a report of an intoxicated person.

A Fish Road business owner reported a burglary/breaking and entering.

Police were called to Canonicus Street for a neighbor dispute.

Larceny was reported from the Tiverton Casino Hotel.

Police were called to the Tiverton Casino Hotel at 10:45 p.m. for a domestic issue.

Saturday, Nov. 6

Police were called to a disturbance at the Tiverton Casino Hotel at 2:09 a.m.

ShannonK. Llewellyn, 45, of 37 Maple Valley Road, Lynn, Ma., was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer, after police were called to the Tiverton Casino Hotel at 3:10 a.m.

Police were called to Main Road at 11:37 p.m. for a noise complaint.

Police were called to Bulgarmarsh Road at 11:46 p.m. for a reported domestic incident.

Sunday, Nov. 7

Police were called to Stafford Road just before 10 a.m. for a domestic incident.

Justin M. Wheeler, 30, of 8 Garfield St., faces numerous charges after police pulled him over on Stafford Road at 8:23 p.m. Police charged him with carrying a pistol without a license, alteration of identifying marks on a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, 10 grams or less and obstructing an officer. He was also arrested on a bench warrant issued by Sixth Division District Court.

Police issued a driver a verbal warning after getting a call about an erratic driver on Route 24 just after 11 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 8

Bernardino P. Cardoso, 29, of 64 Laureston St., Apt. 2, Brockton, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, 10 grams or less, after police pulled him over on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 2:14 a.m.

Police checked out a noise complaint called in from Shove Street at 4:31 a.m.
