Barrington Pop Warner and Barrington Flag Football recently crowned four division champs for the 2024 Fall Flag Football season.

The playoffs took place over two weekends, with the 6U Division finals played on Sunday, Nov. 10, and the 8U, 10U and 12U/14U title games played on “Championship Sunday” on Nov. 17. All the games took place at Chianese Field.

Twenty teams competed for the four division championships. At the end of day, the Bills, Chargers, Raiders and Seahawks had each won titles.

In the 6U Division, the Bills, coached by Harry Sprague, capped an impressive season with a win over the Patriots in the finals. The Patriots earned a trip to the finals with an earlier win over the Dolphins.

In the 8U Division, the Chargers, coached by Josh Glass, celebrated the championship with a win over the Titans in the finals. The Chargers defeated the Chiefs in the semifinals while the Titans topped the Broncos. The Chiefs reached the semifinals with a quarterfinals win against the Eagles.

The Raiders, led by Coaches Tony Figliola and Matt DiOrio, capped an undefeated season with a win in the 10U Division championship game. The Raiders defeated the Bengals in a thrilling title game. The Steelers, Ravens, Colts and Browns also put forth great efforts in the playoff competition, with the Steelers defeating the Ravens, and the Browns defeating the Colts in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, the Bengals defeated the Browns, and the Raiders topped the Steelers.

In the 12U/14U Division, the Seahawks and their coach Michael Rosow defeated the Bucs in the finals. The Seahawks reached the finals with a win over the Rams, while the Bucs punched their ticket with a victory over the Lions. The Rams and Lions both won quarterfinal playoff games — the Rams beat the 49ers while the Lions defeated the Vikings.
