Barrington Troop 46 celebrated the scouting year with a Court of Honor at the Barrington Congregational Church in late May.

The Troop, families and friends honored two scouts who achieved the rank of Eagle this year, Benjamin Siegel and Luciano Cicione.

Benjamin Siegel completed his Eagle requirements by working with the Barrington Land Conservation Trust to build and install a kiosk at Mussachuck conservation area. The kiosk provides information and education about the local ecosystem. Ben will graduate from Barrington High School this June.

Luciano Cicione completed his journey to Eagle in June 2024. Luciano built and installed a trailhead kiosk at St. Andrew’s farm, also to benefit the Barrington Land Conservation Trust. A member of the Barrington High School class of 2024, Luciano recently completed his freshman year at the University of Connecticut.

Barrington resident and proud Eagle Scout Adam Resmini delivered the keynote address, sharing memories of Camp Yawgoog, motivating scoutmasters, and his lifelong scouting friends. Adam provided insight into how the scout law and scout oath have guided him through his life and legal career.

In addition to the Eagle Scouts, Troop 46 celebrated the many merit badges and rank advancements earned this spring.  The following rank advancements were achieved: Scout: Aiden Rawnsley, Andrew Goblink, Michael Ivanoski; Tenderfoot: Mark Schuller; Second Class: Jonah Mosier; Star: Aahan Anatha-Krishna, Henry Chwalk, Lucas Sousa, Eli Prohofsky; Life: Killian Maddock, Maxwell Colacchio, Edward Hulten.
