Westport police logs: Woman faces DUI, other charges

Monday, May 16

Police investigated a suspicious auto spotted on Forge Road at 2:14 a.m.

A State Road resident complained of larceny, forgery or fraud just before 9 a.m.

A caller reported a motor vehicle violation on American Legion Highway at 10:02 a.m.

Police arrested Joshua A. Rapoza, 35, of 118 Sodom Road, on a warrant at 10:48 a.m. The reason for the warrant was not specified in police logs.

Tuesday, May 17

Police towed a disabled car that came to a stop at State Road and North Berryman Street just before 1:30 a.m.

Police investigated a suspicious auto on State Road at 3:17 a.m.

A caller reported a motor vehicle accident at Gifford Road and Cedar Lane at 4:12 a.m.

Lorraine Elizabeth Lubiejewski, 48, of 3 Fallon Drive, was charged with operating under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and cited for marked lane and wrong way violations, after police pulled her over on John Reed Road at 10:27 a.m.

A caller from East Briggs Road reported a missing person at 4:47 p.m.

Police served a restraining order on American Legion Highway at 9:04 p.m. They attempted to serve another about half an hour later on Blossom Road, but were unable to.

Wednesday, May 18

Police helped clear a road hazard at Davis Road and Barbara Street at 2:23 a.m.

A caller reported a motor vehicle violation on American Legion Highway at 5:30 a.m.

Police served a restraining order on Hix Bridge Road at12:56 p.m.

Police attempted to serve a warrant on Pauline Street at 5:05 p.m., but were unable to.

A caller from Drift Road reported an open window or door at 10 p.m. Police checked and secured the property.

Friday, May 20

Police attempted to serve a summons on Old Bedford Road at 3:17 p.m., but were unable to.

Trent David Bowden, 43, of 7 South Berryman St., was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, after police pulled him over on State Road at 6:56 p.m.

A caller reported a car accident on Briggs Road at 8:21 p.m.

Saturday, May 21

Police served a restraining order on Briggs Road at 10:37 a.m.

A caller to 911 reported an accident on State Road at 1:15 p.m.

Police were called to Blossom Road at 2:18 p.m. for a neighbor dispute.

A caller to 911 reported a motor vehicle violation on State Road at 11:43 p.m.

Police investigated a suspicious auto on Drift Road at 11:52 p.m.

Sunday, May 22

Police investigated a suspicious auto on American Legion Highway at 3:02 a.m.

Fire department crews were called out to a brush fire on Cadmans Neck Road at 10:36 a.m.

A caller reported a car accident on John Reed Road at 12:11 p.m.

A caller to 911 reported a car accident on State Road at 12:23 p.m.

A caller to 911 reported a disturbance on John Reed Road at 5:11 p.m.

A caller from John Reed Road reported a stolen car at 6:46 p.m.

Police were called to Beeden Place at 8:23 p.m. for a neighbor dispute.

A caller to 911 reported a disturbance on Charlotte White Road at 11:24 p.m.
