Westport police: Woman faces multiple charges after accident

Tuesday, June 21

Police investigated a suspicious car on Old Bedford Road at 1:36 a.m.

Liliana Paige Vegnani-McArdle, 24, of 55 Boutwell St., Dorchester, Ma., was charged with various motor vehicle offenses, including operating with a suspended license, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, Speeding at a rate of speed greater than reasonable and proper, and cited for a marked lane violation, following an accident called in via 911 from Route 88 and State Road at 12:01 p.m.

A caller asked police to keep the peace on William Street at 2:50 p.m.

Wednesday, June 22

Police investigated a suspicious car on State Road at 3:20 a.m.

A caller reported a suspicious person on State Road just before 8 a.m.

A Main Road resident reported larceny, forgery or fraud.

Police tried but were unable to serve a restraining order on Boysenberry Drive at 11:29 a.m.

Police served a summons on Sanford Road at 1:18 p.m.

Police responded to an accident at Gifford Road and Dias Avenue at 3:42 p.m. Ten minutes later, another was called in from American Legion Highway.

A caller asked police to keep the peace on William Street.

A Main Road caller reported a stolen car.

A valler from State Road complained of a suspicious person on State Road at 7:59 p.m. Police could not locate the individual.

Thursday, June 23

Police investigated a suspicious car on State Road just before 1 a.m.

Police investigated a suspicious car called in from O Drive at 7:48 p.m.

A caller from State Road reported a disturbance at 10:10 p.m.

A caller from State Road reported a suspicious car at 10:57 p.m. Police said the report was unfounded.

Friday, June 24

Timothy L. Barreira, 35, of 128 Briggs Road, was arrested on a probation warrant after police went to Briggs Road at 12:28 a.m. to serve a restraining order.

A Conserve Avenue resident walked in to the police station to report the violation of a restraining order.

Police attempted to but were unable to serve a summons on Adamsville Road at 2:38 p.m.

A caller from Johnson Street complained of receiving annoying telephone calls.

A caller reported a suspicious person at Route 88 and Briggs Road at 10:07 p.m. Police deemed it unfounded.

A caller to 911 reported a disturbance at Bridge Road and Cherry and Webb Lane at 11:21 p.m. Police deemed it unfounded.

A caller to 911 reported a motor vehicle violation on State Road at 11:38 p.m.

Saturday, June 25

Police were called to an accident on Route 88 at 1:17 a.m.

Parking enforcement officers issued citations on Hix Bridge Road at 11:12 a.m., Cherry and Webb Lane at 11:30 a.m. and 12:47 p.m., East Beach Road at 12:09 p.m., and Beach Avenue at 1:57 p.m. and 3:29 p.m.

Police served a summons on Adamsville Road at 12:18 p.m.

A caller reported a motor vehicle violation on Route 88 at 4:39 p.m.; police deemed it unfounded.

Police were called to accidents at Route 88 and Drift Road at 4:54 p.m., and Sanford Road at 5:06 p.m.

Sunday, June 26

A caller from Adamsville Road lodged animal complaints at 11:37 a.m.

A parking enforcement officer issued a parking citation at Westport Harbor at 12:43 p.m.

A caller from State Road reported breaking and entering just after 1 p.m.

A Horseneck Road resident reported larceny, forgery or fraud at 3:28 p.m.

A caller to 911 reported suspicious activity on Gifford Road at 11:17 p.m.

Police were called to an accident on American Legion Highway at 11:48 p.m.
