William J. Corscadden, 81, of Tiverton, R.I., passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2022. He was the husband of the late Claudette M. (Gagnier) Corscadden, to whom he was married to for 58 years before her passing.

Born in Tiverton, R.I., he was the son of the late Dorothy (Robertson) and Albert “Brud” Corscadden. He had been the owner of Coppers Lounge in Fall River.

William had served as a Captain in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam War veteran. He was the recipient of numerous medals, including the Purple Heart, and many pertaining to his Vietnam service. 

He loved to watch the Red Sox and Patriots. He enjoyed and took great pride in his home.

Prior to his wife Claudette’s death, they had loved to travel. He was a member of the monthly Guys Breakfast Club. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Denise Duncan, and her husband, Scott, of Rehoboth, Mass. He also leaves his brothers Kenneth C. Corscadden (Lauren), Michael Corscadden (Raeanne) and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late “Tim” Corscadden, Nelson Corscadden and Keith Corscadden.
