William Michael Davock, 69, of Warren, R.I., passed away Friday, Aug. 13, 2021, after fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer. The son of the late Robert Arthur and Caroline (Turner) Davock, “Billy” was born in Trenton, N.J., and grew up in Riverside and Warren, R.I., graduating from Warren High School in 1969.

In 1994, he established Market Street Pub as a special place where friends and family could gather and share in countless memories over the years. Today, his family is proud to carry on his legacy.

Billy loved his MSP family and would help anyone in need. If he couldn’t help you himself, he would open up his rolodex (yes, he hated technology) and find someone who could.

He was affectionately known for his witty one-liners, “whacking” keno, going for long jeep rides with the top down while listening to Jimmy Buffet, having breakfast at Rod’s Grill, hanging with the boys at Willaby’s, taking trips to the Florida Keys, kayaking on the Palmer River, watching his beloved New England sports teams, shooting pool and playing softball for Moe’s Tap.

He was a true pillar of the community. But, what he loved most was spending time with his beautiful family at his homestead, “UPBACK” Touisset.

Billy leaves behind his loving wife, Sandra E. (Manchester) Davock; three sons, James Bigelow and his wife Lisa of Hope Valley, R.I., Jason Bigelow of Darby, Mt., and Matthew Bigelow of Warren, R.I.; four daughters, Amy Davock of Warren, R.I., Jodi Furtado and her husband Steven of Warren, R.I., Keri Davock and her fiancé Hoslee of Bristol, R.I., and Alissa Gregory and her husband Nathan of Warren; two sisters, Karen Minassian and her husband Gary of Rehoboth, Mass., and Roberta Blair and her husband John of Warren, R.I.; 13 grandchildren, Jayson, Joshua, Nathan, Sydney, Katrina, Kaiden, Shelbie, Kasie, Riley, Mason, Travis, Jack and Sara, and six great-grandchildren, JJ, Adam, Oliver, Waylon, Lacey and Kenzley.

Friends may stop by Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m. to sign the register book.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the family home, at 108R Touisset Road, Warren.
