FABRIC 2021 - Group Exhibition

Posted

FABRIC 2021 arts festival celebrates the triumph of the human spirit, through engaging and culturally rewarding multidisciplinary artistic interventions. At the Fall River Museum of Contemporary Art (FR MoCA), co-founders Harry Gould Harvey IV and Brittni Ann Harvey will present Group Exhibition

FR MoCA was founded in 2020, initiated from support by the FABRIC Arts Festival. FR MoCA is located on the ground floor of one of Fall River’s remaining historic granite mills and active textile manufacturing facility, Merrow Manufacturing. The collaborative support of FABRIC Arts festival and Merrow Manufacturing has allowed artists Harry Gould Harvey IV and Brittni Ann Harvey to establish FR MoCA as a non-profit and non-collecting art museum with the SouthCoast Community Foundation as its fiscal sponsor. Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
