Farm school to offer composting event this weekend

The Barrington Farm School is hosting a compost tea worming brewing event on Saturday, May 8 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Those in attendance will learn how compost tea is brewed in the farm's new 50-gallon brewer. There will be demonstrations and information about home composting, worm composting, worm tea brewing.

Composting worms, worm castings, and compost pails will be for sale. Also, honey and other items will be sold at the farm stand on Federal Road.
