Letter: Veterans not forgotten by Wilbur McMahon students

To the editor:

Dear veterans,

It has been a time honored tradition for the Wilbur McMahon students and staff to recognize our local veterans with a schoolwide assembly each year. Like with many traditions this past year, we had to cancel our plans.

Please know that, even though we are unable to have your assembly, you are not forgotten. Individual classes throughout our school will be honoring all veterans in some capacity. Everyone at Wilbur McMahon is grateful for your service and sacrifice that has made it possible as Americans to keep our privilege of democracy and freedom.

Wishing all of you a year of good health,

Thank you!
