Tiverton police: Man charged with felony domestic assault

Monday, Sept. 12

A 911 caller from Main Road reported an unwanted party at 4:48 p.m.

A caller on Route 24 North reported a motor vehicle accident at 5:19 p.m. At least one person was injured and transported to the hospital.

A walk-in from East Road reported harassment/threats at 7:07 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

A 911 caller from Route 24 south reported a motor vehicle accident . At least one person was injured and transported to the hospital following the roll-over accident.

A caller from Main Road reported annoying phone calls at 3:21 p.m.

A 911 caller from Grinnell’s Beach reported a suspicious vehicle at 6:10 p.m.

A 911 caller from East Road reported a motor vehicle accident at 6:25 p.m. At least one person was injured.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

A caller from reported someone dumping trash at 1:06 p.m.

A caller from Horizon Drive reported someone dumping trash at 7:52 p.m.

Police investigated a report of larceny at Tiverton Casino Hotel on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 11:30 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 15

A caller from John Street reported lewd and lascivious behavior at 12:23 p.m.

A walk-in from Bulgarmarsh Road reported a neighbor dispute at 12:53 p.m.

A caller from State Avenue reported identity theft at 9:31 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 16

Maguire K. Burgess, 28, of 500 Angell St., Apt. 105, Providence, was charged with DUI of liquor- .15 or greater (first offense) after police pulled him over at the intersection of Central Avenue and Main Road at 1:14 a.m.

A caller from Tiverton Yacht Club reported a parking violation at 9:05 a.m.

A 911 caller from Stafford Road reported an overdose at 11:36 a.m.

A caller from Seapowet Avenue reported fraud at 1:17 p.m.

A caller from Knotty Pine Road reported a suspicious vehicle at 5:13 p.m.

A caller from Main Road reported vandalism at 5:51 p.m.

A caller from Blackbird Court reported harassment/threats at 9:41 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 17

Stephanie Rodrigues, 33, of 232 Lowell St., Apt. 1, Fall River, was charged with DUI of liquor or drugs- .10 to .15 (first offense) and driving with suspended/revoked/canceled license (second offense) after police responded to a 911 call from Tiverton Casino Boulevard for an accident at 12:58 a.m.

A caller from Crandall Road reported harassment/threats at 8:31 a.m.

A caller from Industrial Way reported a hit and run accident at 3:08 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Daniel L. Blanchette, 48, of 506 Crandall Road, was charged with domestic felony assault and/or battery, domestic disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer in the execution of duty, after police responded to a 911 caller reporting a domestic incident at 8:26 p.m. He was additionally charged with domestic simple assault and/or battery, domestic disorderly conduct, and domestic violence-refusal to relinquish/damage/obstruct telephone with intimidation.

Sunday, Sept. 18

Lisa M. Moy, 51, of 38 Doris Ave., was charged with DUI of liquor- BAC unknown (first offense) after police pulled her over on Route 24 north at 12:52 a.m.

A caller from Crandall Road asked for police to keep the peace at 9:50 a.m.

A caller from Songbird Lane reported a noise complaint at 9:55 a.m.

A caller from King Road reported harassment/threats at 11:38 a.m.

A walk-in from East Road reported an assault at 10:24 p.m.
