Warren fire fighters will remember their own Sunday, holding a full parade and ceremony at the Warren Town Common following the cancellation of last year's public event.

Chief James Sousa said the memorial is dedicated to the department's deceased members, and the names of those who have passed over the past year will be read aloud. Though there will be a parade and ceremony on the Common, a traditional public lunch that was held in past years at fire headquarters will not be held this year due to Covid restrictions.

The memorial starts with an 8 a.m. Mass at St. Mary of the Bay Church. At 11 a.m., a parade leaves fire headquarters, turns north on Main, west on Miller and south on Water before heading east on State, to the Town Common. There will be a brief ceremony and Warren Town Manager Kate Michaud, this year's guest speaker, will make a speech.

Memorialized in this year's ceremony are the following Warren Fire Department members who passed away over the past year, Chief Sousa said Monday:
