Leonilde (Barbosa Da Silva) Pavao, 85 of Warren, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. Born in St. Barbara, St. Michael the Azores, a daughter of the late Miguel Barbosa Da Silva and Mariana Ferreira Arruda. She was the widow of Jose Aguiar Pavao.

She was the beloved mother of Susan Pavao (Matthew) of West Greenwich; Elizabeth Machado (Joseph) of Warren and Rose Marie Demelo (Ildegal) of Canada. Loving grandmother of Douglas, Sean, Nicholas, Richard, Michael and Jonathan. Devoted great grandmother of Mia, Isla, and Mackenzie. She was the sister of Carlos Da Silva; Natalie Da Silva and Duarte Da Silva all of Swansea. She was predeceased by her step-mother Belmira Ferreira Arruda; siblings Luis Da Silva and Merces Trindade.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, Warren, where family received relatives and friends on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022. A funeral was held on Saturday, Jan. 22 from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Warren. Burial was observed at St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Warren. Donations may be made to HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence RI 02904.
