Mary Frances (Terry) Merchant, 76, of Warren, RI, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.

Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin J. and Margaret (Pollett) Terry.

Mrs. Merchant had worked as the Office Manager at Bristol County Dodge in Warren, RI, for 35 years.  She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Bay Church in Warren.

She is survived by a daughter, Alicia Pereira and her husband of Henry of Barrington, RI; three brothers, Joseph Terry of Bristol, RI, Edwin Terry of Sunapee, NH, and Anthony Terry of Barrington, RI; and two grandchildren, Rachel Pereira and Austin Pereira, both of Barrington, RI.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 9 AM in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Vernon Street, Warren.

Calling hours are omitted.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, or to Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, 249 Roosevelt Ave., Suite 201, Pawtucket, RI, 02860.

Arrangements are by Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI.
